Polliebyte – A New Approach Towards Politics

Polliebyte is a team of people whose goal is not to change policy but to change how politics is done. they want to create a direct connection between representatives and their constituents that is unfiltered by the media.The site is a hub for the users who will be engaged in raising the topics/issues and receive an answer from the respective representative. It allows a user to raise as well as discuss issues with his/her community and can mark the issues as favorites, add comments/suggestions on them, note/unvote them etc. A representative will be chosen depending on a postal code. Representative of a postal code will be able to post an answer in respective to the posted issues by the users. Users can share these issues on their Facebook home pages. Users can verify their profile registering the mobile number with the site.

The website looks professional and elegant as it has been built using Drupal 7 CMS. We have used various “Contrib Modules” along with few custom modules. The modules include:

We have also integrated SMS gateway called Twilio for user verification and also have integrated Facebook Login/Register and Facebook Share functionalities. In addition to this, we have also have integrated User Inbox/Outbox management system by using which they can send/receive messages to the other users of the website.
