Photography Ecommerce design and development

Client Requirement:

Client wanted us to develop a website for him where photo contributors can upload images and buyers can purchase these images whenever needed. Client told us that the website will have two types of administrators and two type of front end users based on different access levels. The client shared www.alamy.com as a reference site.

Our Endeavor:

According to the client’s requirements, we have created a Flash up-loader to upload multiple images by the contributor. The images are resized and watermarked automatically once it is uploaded. We have implemented such functionality so that the images become searchable on the website once the administrator/ QC administrator approves the same. We have also created the Flash interface to edit the uploaded images. This interface can be used by the contributors to edit the images. Buyers can purchase images using the PayPal payment gateway that we have added. Once the images are sold the commission of the image is automatically distributed to the contributors. Administrators can put the percentage of the commission for each contributor according to his/her choice.
