Golden Fynch – A Social Networking Site for Truckers
Client Requirement:
The client wanted us to develop a social networking platform that would help the truckers and vendors to connect and share with each other.
Our Endeavor:
Golden Fynch is a social networking site. It’s mission is to give truckers, farmers, and construction workers the power to share information around the world and to stay connected with their industries.Home Page & Profile Page:
The homepage displays informative content and images of the website and the services offered.
The master page is having links to view profile, logout, forum, friends, gallery etc.
Global Search option has been made available to search friends.
New users can register with the site.
User profile page is a central page for the website and it displays users’ information.
The profile page randomly displays 6 random friends. While there is link to see all the friends available on ‘Friends Screen’.
Global Search Screen:
When user types text in Global search text box and press enter, search results will appear in this page.
Search can be performed by first and /or last name of users.
Search result show users’ basic information and friendship status.
Users also have an option to connect to users that are not in its friend list.
Information Screen:
This page displays detailed information about users like and dislikes.
The page also displays information like Birthday, places the user likes, books, movies, TV Show, quotes, professional information, education, favorite trucks, favorite cars, favorite company, dreams and more.
Backend Admin:
The admin of the site can manage users. All the users appear in list at the backend and he can delete any user whenever necessary.
The admin can also manage ads and provide Amazon and Google ad details that will appear on forum page.
The admin can manage forums, groups, message boards etc.
User Activity Log:
In this log, users’ sign-in and sign-out activities get logged (sign-out will be logged if user does sign-out using the website. It won’t be recorded if browser is closed/terminated directly).
Activity log is displayed in a list form at admin’s end, with a ‘From’ and ‘To’ date filter for all or selected users.
