Enhancing a Drupal Based Ecommerce site

Client Requirement:

The client came to us with his already existing ecommerce site and he wanted us to do some functional improvements on it. He shared with us a well explained doc that carried the list of enhancements he required.

Our Endeavor:

Goldie’s online jewellery collection offering a diverse and unique range of distinctive, indulgent and original costume jewellery pieces sourced from New York and Paris.

Front-End functionality:  In this project we have to integrate a new theme for front-end users and completely changed the home page with rotation banner image and text. Integratec “Contact Us” form and have changed the site wide  primary, secondary and footer menu. Dynamically managed newsletter with MailChimp integration was also been done. Our developers have also integrated the PayPal payment gateway in the website.

The cart navigation has been made always visible on the website, no matter what page users are on – home, content pages, category pages, product pages or blog. Earlier on some content pages and on product pages the category cart navigation used to get disappeared. However, our expert team have fixed the issue and it is working find now. The cart navigation was different on the “Add to cart” page and into the buying process. Thus, we have kept the navigation 100% same across all pages.

We have also added a search panel, available on all the pages to allow users to look for a particular product they are looking for. Google Analytics Ecommerce tracking – has been implemented for ecommerce tracking on receipt/ Thank You page of shopping cart.

Admin functionality: We have created a content type for home page slider banner and non moving banners. Also we have created a menu management section by using menu module.
