Designing & Developing a Photo Sharing Mobile Game

Photos Among Friends (PAF) is a mobile-based game that allows groups of users to initiate a game (or accept invitations to join existing games) where each contest is based on a photograph indicating a topic or theme for that game.

For example, let’s say a user’s friends and the user are fans of the Godfather movies, and there is a marathon on cable showing all those movies this weekend. The user might initiate a game with picture of a fish wrapped in a newspaper and the caption “Luca Brasi sleeps with the fishes.” (Or he might initiate a game without the first picture but simply the subject of the game.) The user choose which of my friends to invite (or he can invite all players nationwide), and the friends can get a message with that first picture saying, ”John has started a game, and the theme is ‘The Godfather.’”

We have created the application website using Phonegap and CakePHP created several web forms and admin section user management, game management, celebrity management, sponsor management, advertiser management.
