Client Requirement:
The client approached us with a requirement of developing a BlackBerry app that would work as an advertising platform. He also wanted us to develop a website in regards to the app. The website would allow users to register, log-in, create a profile, access business listings, and events etc.
Our Endeavor:
Hondurapps is an innovative advertising platform, which can be used by any company or business which is looking to promote its business on a larger scale and in a personal way. The app centralizes information about areas like Tourism, Business, Events, Social Network etc. of a country in one place. However, the app is especially meant for Hondurans (inhabitants of Honduras, a republic in Central America) allowing them to have access to everything they need to find in the country. Alongside, this app is equally usable by the foreign users who are willing to pay a visit to the place. The application will allow them to receive discounts and access other promotional tools coming from various of businesses.The website, that we have developed is a combination of Social Networking, Tourism, and Business Service listings. Using this web space, the users can register, log-in and create profiles. They can browse business listing by category/location, view business listings and view business details as well. Let us now discuss the features and functionalities of the app:
- The app supports two languages: English and Spanish. The default language would be English, however, the users can change it to Spanish whenever required.
- The app allows its users to perform the following tasks:
- Search businesses
- Search businesses on map
- Search for country facts
- Look for contacts
- Add businesses to favorites
- Users can access and store the following data in their profiles:
- Business places (favorites)
- Trend places (visited places)
- Tourism places (visited places)
- Friend list
- Events (attended events)
- Liking and sharing profiles, businesses, images and events on Facebook and Twitter is also easy.
- Users can search a business as well filter businesses according to their search requirements.
On an outset, this app is equally useful for commercial users who want to promote their businesses through this app; as well as for non-commercial end users who are looking for certain products or services in Honduras.
